Electrical bushings
Electrical bushings are typically used to insulate conductors as they pass through an earthed barrier such as a transformer or circuit breaker wall. They usually include a conductor made from copper or aluminum, covered in insulation, except for the terminals. It is essential that electrical bushings are designed in a way that prevents the electrical energy from penetrating the insulation during normal service, and can withstand surges of high voltage. For applications involving especially high voltages, it is important that no voids occur in the resin insulation during molding.
