Dryers Product Lines

At Firing Industries, we can supply you with dryers from Hosokawa Micron B.V. These energy efficient dryers have high capabilities but low maintenance costs. Our dryers work in either atmospheric or vacuum conditions, with some even
functioning in both. They also perform well with slurries, pastes and free flowing powders and cakes. We carry active freeze drying units that provide an alternative to tray freeze dryers. This is useful for bulk powders and  produces a fine powder in one step, with no de-lumping required.

We manufacture three flash dryers suitable for working with wet materials and produce goods with ultra-fine consistencies. These include the Drymeister, Micron Dryer and Long Gap mills, the latter of which offers close-loop operations such as solvent recovery.  

We also make low and high-speed indirect horizontal dryer/coolers suitable for close-loop operations.

These dryers are useful for major industries, including the chemical, mineral, food, recycling and battery production industries. Some dryers are compatible for SIP processes.

Dryers Manufacturing Process

There are more than 1,000 Hosokawa dryers in active use. All techniques are tested at the company’s in-house pilot plant. This allows us to closely monitor our product production. The Drymeister and Micron Dryer units have a compact design, taking up less than half the space of most flash dryers.

Firing Industries has a head office in Niagra-on-the-Lake, ON, not far from the province’s industrial centers and the United States border. Our Montreal-area branch office has bilingual staff. Our staff also makes regular visits to Western and Eastern Canada. We represent various suppliers, including Schneck Process, PIAB and Jacob. Firing Industries employees can also offer process development and installation services upon request.
