Omron groups these products into three distinct categories: motion controllers, servo systems, and frequency inverters.

Omron motion controllers come in 13 different designs, with five types of motion architecture and six types of drive control methods. The number of axes on each item ranges from one to 256, with ten of them having four axes; additional features include CNC functionality and G-Code programming language, while applicable servo drives include 1S, Accurax G5, G-Series, and SmartStep 2.

Servo systems available from Omron include servo drives, servo motors, and frequency inverters. Three different designs of servo drives use four drive control methods and three different power ranges, with variable safety functions and linear or rotary servo motors. Omron makes three kids of servo motors, with varying rated torques, rated and maximum speeds, and sizes. Two types of linear motors are available, with iron-core or ironless linear motors.
