Three custom methods
We can perform a range of methods that can help remove all types of burrs. We work with our customers to determine the best procedure for your needs. Once you’ve decided on the method that’s right for you, our design team provides our operators with clear instructions, resulting in smooth, burr-free parts.
Our deburring methods include abrasive blasting, barrel tumbling and vibratory tumbling. Abrasive blasting involves shooting glass beads at your part. This has a sanding effect that is ideal for stripping away light burrs. Barrel tumbling is more effective with larger burrs, creating a smoother finish than other methods, especially when used with aluminum oxide grit. Finally, a vibratory tumbler set to a high speed has also proven effective.

Each of these methods are used for surface finishing applications, including deburring, cutting, polishing and more. Part manufacturers in industries such as shipbuilding, transportation and more commonly use these procedures.
