Torchmate is a Lincoln Electric company with a history that began in 1979 with the invention of a cutting machine. The first Torchmate was designed as an affordable alternative to Pantograph Flame Cutting machines, which were too expensive for the common shop at over $1,400. The Torchmate was a game changer as it was offered for $400. Torchmate equipment offers that same high value today, but now there are machines available to suit every budget and production requirement.
