Current sensing relays are available from Mod-Tronic Instruments Ltd. For instance, we offer a range of combination current sensor-relays from Veris Industries. These units act as both an on/off status sensor and a command relay. By combining these abilities in a single package, these sensor-relays reduce space requirements. We are the ideal distributor for relays, sensors, controls, instrumentation, and more due to our wide selection, quality products, and application expertise. During our more than 45 years in business, we have earned a strong reputation for supplying products that offer quality and performance at competitive prices.
Current sensing relays
Our selection of current sensing relays includes solid-core and split-core types as well as fixed and adjustable varieties. For example, we supply solid-core fixed setpoint relays such as the Hawkeye 730 series. They are perfect for the monitoring and control of motors in applications where belt loss is not a concern.
Also available are solid-core current relays with adjustable setpoints such as the Hawkeye 735 series. They are ideal for providing total control of fans and pumps. They have an integral current switch and relay that operate independently, and can handle start/stop and status functions in a single device.
Also available are split-core analog current sensors/switches such as the Hawkeye 931/951. These units provide load trending information with high accuracy using a proportional 4-20mA output signal. It also features a separate integral command relay. These products are perfect for start/stop and status of HVAC motors.
