Conveyor Pulleys

We manufacture high-quality conveyor pulleys designed to make your conveying system more efficient.  Your machinery is the lifeblood of your business, which means that faulty or poorly built equipment can grind your production to a halt and cost your valuable business. Trust the experts at Continental Conveyor and Machine Works to create an exceptional pulley solution for your business. Our pulleys come in a variety of models to meet your needs. Whether you need a self-cleaning pulley that prevents unnecessary build-up and damage, or a standard model that divides torque effectively across its surface, we have the options you need to help your business thrive.

Three types available

We construct our conveyor pulleys from high quality welded steel. Our standard models come with three types of hubs and bushings. Pulleys with Q.D. bushings distributes torque effectively with its self-locking taper, offering better holding power and simple assembly. Its cap screw also eliminates the need for additional parts. The CXTB hubs and bushings feature two-inch tapers and bolts used to pass torque through the assembly, allowing for better holding strength. The Dodge “Taper Lock” has an one-and-a-half-inch taper and, like the CXTB hubs, distributes torque through its bolts. This offers greater torsion and a higher load rating.     We also carry a line of self-cleaning pulleys with the same styles. They better distribute the weight of the load into the pulley’s shaft, as well as sloping wing plates that keep build-up from accumulating.

Used in numerous industries

In the past, we’ve provided conveyor solutions with power plants, paper mills, mining facilities and chemical treatment plants, among many other industries. Our products are designed to make your conveying applications simpler and more cost-effective.

High-quality process

We carry out extensive testing to ensure that our pulleys meet CEMA regulations. We produce pulleys by rolling steel into rims and then using a cutting machine to carve out end discs. We then weld intermediate and centre discs onto the rims and mount the end discs before hydraulically attaching each part.
