Closed die forgings

Closed die forging, also known as impression die forging, involves the use of two or more dies that enclose the work piece. As opposed to open die forging, the flow of metal is restricted by the dies, which allows forgings to have tighter tolerances and more complex shapes.

In addition to forging, we perform a range of in-house operations to create products that meet all of your requirements. For instance, our forgings are available with a variety of threadings including UNF, UNC, metric, and ACME. The options for materials include stainless steel, carbon steel, and steel alloys of many grades.  We can offer standard finishes such as plain, electro galvanized, hot dipped, and electro polished.
