Chip handling conveyors
Norpak Handling Limited offers the model CRB horizontal belt conveyor with troughed roller bed. This conveyor has deep troughed guard rails which allow it to carry loose materials including chips, stampings, and more. It is ideal for scrap handling as well as recycling operations and is often used to handle broken glass, cans, aluminum, steel, and plastic stampings.
This conveyor features a self-cleaning tail pulley, side-mounted end drive for low elevations, and adjustable floor supports. It is available with seven different belt widths, ranging from 12 inches to 30 inches. This is a roller bed style conveyor, so it offers low friction operation. It has a maximum load capacity of 25 pounds per linear foot of conveyor.
Also available are incline conveyors with cleated belts. They are designed for carrying small parts at any angle from horizontal to 45 degrees. In addition, we can provide cleated apron conveyors that feature the superior durability of a metal belt.
