Tsubaki of Canada Ltd. can supply flexible roller chain couplings. These couplings consist of a double strand roller chain and two sprockets. They offer torque capacity in excess of what is typically transmitted by shafts that fall within the coupling bore range. These couplings feature press fit center-link plates and single pin connectors. Some of the different types of chain couplings available include finished bore, QD style, and Taper-Lock style. Chain couplings

We offer chain couplings in many sizes. When selecting the right chain coupling, the smallest coupling size that can accommodate both shafts should be used. The next larger coupling size should be used for revising operations, shock or pulsating loads, or other demanding operating conditions.

We also supply coupling covers. A cover should be used with chain couplings to guarantee maximum service life, especially if the coupling will operate at high speeds or in moist or abrasive conditions. To ensure proper lubrication, a soft to medium consistency bearing grease should be used to fill the space between the cover and coupling.
