Process

Our certification process is designed to offer flexible service that can help make your products more valuable to vendors and customers. You can send your products off for testing at one of our facilities, or request a CSA Group representative to come to your workplace. With model, category and supervised certification available, as well as two field evaluation programs, we have the testing option that can get your product certified faster.

After requesting certification, we’ll send you a package containing a reference number, a product service agreement that details the deal, a request for sample products (if they can be sent through the mail) and a request for technical information. After you have filled out and returned this information, we will inform you of the date and time your product will be tested. If your product passes the test, we will provide you with a certificate of compliance, as well as a full report on your accreditation. You will then sign a service agreement, which allows you to display CSA marks on your product.
