Cast-in heaters

We supply a variety of cast-in heaters. The types we can offer include band air cooled, band air cooled with shroud and blower, band water cooled, cross head die and more. If we don’t have exactly what you’re looking for, we can provide a custom designed cast-in heater for you, in almost any shape or size.

We have band air-cooled heaters that utilize cooling fins and are typically used with forced air fans. We also provide band heaters with cooling fins contained within a shroud and that include an attached blower. This type of configuration provides a complete heating and cooling package. These heater models make operation safe and easy, as the outer shroud prevents hot surfaces from being touched. In addition, we provide cast-in bands with liquid cooling tubes, available for purchase with or without heating elements.

We can offer cross head die heaters that are used to for applying insulation to electrical wiring. They feature through holes that assist with mounting. The aluminum, brass and bronze heaters that we provide offer improved performance over ceramic or mica options. We also have L shaped heaters for use with rectangular extruders, platens (both with and without cooling tubes), and ring cast heaters.
