For more than six decades, Capitol Industries has been the primary source of industrial security solutions in Canada. Although we make an unsurpassed variety of locking devices, more than 80 per cent of our portfolio consists of cam locks. To make these locks easy and convenient for our customers to use, we also offer a series of cam lock kits. These full kits contain all the parts and components a user could need to get the most out of these locks.

Each cam lock kit by us includes one lock and two keys, as well as all of the following components and accessories:

• SL 18403 90-degree stop washer;
• SL 18441 ring;
• J cam;
• SL 18406 180-degree stop washer;
• PD 1004 SEMS screw;
• JQX cam;
• SL 18426 wood washer; and
• PD 1005 hex nut for shell.

Keying options for the lock include keyed alike, keyed different, or master keyed. Our cam lock kits contain N54G keys, with up to 230 combinations, and five brass disc tumblers. The standard finish is nickel, but other finishes are available upon request. Numbering is standard on the keys, with numbering on the plug on request, and the packaging is poly-bagged.

The locks in our cam lock kits come in five different barrel lengths: ten, 16, 22, 29, or 35 millimetres (mm). The front end of every barrel has a diameter of 22 mm, while the back end of each lock measures 16 by 19 mm. The mounting hole size for all of Capitol’s cam locks is 19 mm (3/4″).
