Mod Tronic Instruments can supply a broad variety of sensors and instruments for the protection of rotating machinery. We have a large stock of bearing temperature sensors including thousands of RTDs and thermocouples. In addition, we supply a range of temperature monitors and alarms. Bearing temperature monitors

To monitor bearing temperatures, the first step is selecting the right sensors. We can offer a variety of RTD and thermocouple bearing probes, sensor assemblies, and accessories. Our sensors include tip-sensitive models that have a stainless steel or fiberglass sheath with a fast-responding copper tip. These RTDs and thermocouple probes are rated for temperatures from -50 to 260 degrees C (-58 to 500 degrees F). Also available are bayonet mount probes, adjustable spring-loaded fittings, and connection heads. Probes are available in diameters including 0.188 inch, 0.215 inch, and 0.250 inch.

To monitor the readings from theses sensors, we offer a range of temperature monitors.  One example is the Minco CT224 12-channel temperature monitor. This monitor can accept up to 12 inputs from a mix of RTDs, thermocouples, and other 4 to 20 mA signals. The CT224 features a Windows-compatible software utility for configuration and data logging.
