Anti-Corrosion Coatings

At Denso North America Inc., we engineer and manufacture a wide variety of anti-corrosion and sealing systems. Our U.K.-based parent company, Winn & Coales, was founded in 1883, and we released the renowned Denso tape, which protects buried steel pipelines against corrosion, over 80 years ago. Our products solve problems in all sorts of challenging environments, including underwater and underground, and our dedicated team of professionals use their decades of experience to offer our customers technical support and on-site guidance.

Anti-Corrosion Coating Product Line

We manufacture a full range of Protal, our line of protective pipeline coatings. They can be painted or sprayed on pipelines in high and low temperatures. In addition to offering above and below ground corrosion protection, Protal coatings protect girth weld, tie-ins, cadwells, fittings, and can rehabilitate damaged pipelines. Protal 7125	–Formulated to be applied to colder substrates at colder temperatures (down to -20ºC) –High-build liquid coating (≤50 mils in one coat) –Excellent adhesion, high abrasion resistance –Will cure when submersed in water
Protal 7300	–Moisture-tolerant, VOC-free epoxy coating formulated to coat dry, damp or wet surfaces; adheres well to wet surfaces –High-build liquid coating (≤50 mils in one coat) –Excellent gouge, abrasion and impact resistance
Protal ARO	–Abrasion resistant coating that protects pipelines from directional drilling, bores, river crossings, rough terrain applications –No apply directly to steel –High temperature resistance (65ºC) –High-build liquid coating (≤60 mils in one coat)
