Our aircraft control cables are designed to meet the highest levels of quality and endurance. At Bergen Cable Technology, Inc, we take pride in the high standards we set for our cables. Held to military specifications, our aircraft cables are designed to stand up longer against fatigue in wear, even under more trying conditions. They also reduce harmful vibration and stretch. Each of these qualities serves to provide your assembly with easier and more intuitive controls.
Military and commercial grade cables
We offer both military- and commercial-grade aircraft control cables to suit your applications. Our military-grade cables feature aluminum swaging, which helps maintain the control cable’s expansion and contraction. These military-grade cables come in five different sizes of ball and double-shank, ball and single-shank, fork end and stud terminals. These sizes range from diameters of 1/16” to 3/16”. Our locking stud and strap eye/fork terminals, meanwhile, come in ten and three sizes, respectively. The locking stud terminal’s diameters range from 1/16” to 3/16”, but feature two different models for each size. The strap eye/fork terminal, meanwhile, is available in diameters of 1/16”, 3/32” and 1/8”.
Applications and military and commerce
Our aircraft control cables come for both military and commercial applications. The military variety is designed and tested more rigorously, and is therefore less cost-effective than commercial grade cable. However, they also follow high specifications, which make them ideal for many practical commercial applications.
Extensive testing and design
Our cables endure high-fatigue tests to ensure that they stand up to the rigorous quality required for military specification.
