Acid Waste Pipes

Focusing on quality, innovation and performance, IPEX Inc. designs and manufactures a diverse line of integrated thermoplastic piping systems. Our acid waste piping systems are easy to install, can handle a wide variety of chemicals and pH levels, and last longer and require less maintenance than ductile iron or borosilicate glass systems. At IPEX Inc., a Canadian company with more than 50 years of experience in the plastics industry, customers receive training and assistance beyond software and technical literature. Our well-informed sales, technical and engineering teams are happy to walk you through attributes, uses and installation methods for any of our products. We also take our corporate citizenship seriously, and are committed to our stringent safety standards and participation in environmental programs.

Acid Waste Pipes Product Lines

We offer a variety of piping systems to suit any acid waste application. Our Enfield system, available in flame-retardant or non-flame retardant polypropylene, provides top-notch corrosion resistance and unprecedented control of jointing, through our patented electrofusion system. Our Labline system uses mechanical joints, which both cuts down on installation time and allows users to dismantle and reconfigure the system when necessary. Our extremely resilient Plenumline system also uses mechanical joints, and is designed for transporting high-temperature corrosive chemical waste and other challenging material.

Acid Waste Pipes Industrial Applications

IPEX Inc. has decades of experience in manufacturing piping systems for the electrical, telecommunications and utility industries, for their work in municipal, industrial, commercial and residential areas. We also focus on environmentally-friendly applications.

Acid Waste Pipes Manufacturing Process

When we make the electrofusion fittings in our Enfield systems, we integrally mold a heavy-gauge resistance wire, made of a chrome and nickel alloy, into each joint socket. We then heat the wire with a microprocessor-controlled fusion control unit, and that creates a high-integrity bond between the pipe and the fitting in just a few minutes.
