Customers can choose from among three main types of Nikon microscopes: inverted, upright, and stereo microscopes. A manual, motorized upright microscope with episcopic/diascopic illumination, the Eclipse LV100ND is designed to comply with the various requirements of observation, inspection, research, and analysis across a broad range of industrial sectors. This device enables control of objectives and light intensity from the camera control unit and detects observation methods automatically. Among its other advantages: higher NA; an extremely long working distance; mean superior optical performance; and efficient digital imaging.

The SMZ1270i stereo microscope, which gives a best-in-class zoom ratio of 12.7x to users, is also available from the Hoskin lineup. Nikon has developed this device to offer high operability, intelligent image acquisition features, and top optical performance. The SMZ1270i provides a wide view field at a low magnification, which enables easy confirmation of observation targets, while its innovative optics offer bright and sharp images through the entire view field. In addition, this stereo microscope comes with intelligent functions that allow automatic detection of magnification information.
