Four main designs of grips are available from MOCAP’s portfolio

MOCAP makes many kinds of grips.

MOCAP offers a broader lineup of industrial protective products than any other manufacturer, ranging from plugs and caps to masking solutions. Another popular product line in this unmatched selection is a group of protective vinyl grips. The MOCAP crew produces four designs of these items – double-dip, flat, finger-nub, and round vinyl grips. These grips are available in a wide range of shapes, colours, and sizes to accommodate a broad variety of applications.

A vinyl dip moulding process

The company uses a vinyl dip moulding process to make flexible PVC grips, while encouraging every customer to specify the desired length, wall thickness, colour, surface texture, and material hardness, all with no extra tooling charges. The material options available for these grips include standard smooth and glossy vinyl or textured vinyl. These materials are flexible yet durable, and they can stretch easily onto slightly larger dimensions for tight fits without any splitting, tearing, or shredding. They are tough, weatherproof, and aesthetically appealing too, and MOCAP can easily imprint company names, logos, and more on them.

Providing optimal comfort and durability, the DDG series of double-dip vinyl grips is used on a broad variety of instruments and hand tools. Features include dual walls for extra protection and optional unique colour/material combinations. round vinyl grips come in a traditional round straight-wall style with black as the standard colour, with other colours available from MOCAP too. These round grips have inner diameters that range from 4.7 to 117½ millimetres (mm), minimum inside lengths from 39.7 to 395.3 mm, maximum inside lengths from 44½ to 571½ mm, and wall thicknesses from 1.4 to 1.7 mm.

MOCAP flat vinyl plastic grips provide secure fits and durability. They are often employed as inexpensive covers for protecting products during assembly and shipping, or as single-use masking items for painting or coating tasks. Lengths can run from 1½ to eight inches. Black finger-nub grips are constructed in an ergonomic way for secure, comfortable holds on items with handles or levels, and they easily fit diameters going from 5/8 of an inch to one inch.
