Capitol offers a spectrum of cam locks unmatched in the industrial market today, from magnetic and tubular cam locks to squared-head and miniature models.

Simple solutions for every need

When a tasks requires the most basic, low-cost, low-security lock, the standard cam-lock line features virtually every possible variation of design and latching distance to fit the client’s needs. The lineup includes the standard cam lock and small-diameter cam lock, which have up to 230 key codes. They offer the option of a removable core, which enables fast key-code changes if necessary.

For a higher security level, Capitol provides a line of tubular locks with the same variations of cams to fit different applications, but with seven pin-tumblers in the locking mechanism, which provide up to 60,000 key codes.

When an application calls for higher security and protection from the environment or vandalism, magnetic cam locks fill the bill. These are weatherproof, pick-proof, and tamper-resistant. The lock face is flat, with no keyhole, and the lock is operated with a magnetic key that never goes inside – keeping the internals safe from picking, dirt, and moisture. This system has more than 1,500 different key codes.

All of these locks are made in Canada at competitive prices. Except for the small-diameter line, all fit the same hole size, so for any application, users can retrofit one with another from Capitol. The following designs are available:
