These industrial cyclones come with various specifications. Users should consult N.R. Three standard construction designs are available. Chip cyclones have short cone sections and are most suitable for heavy wood chips with minimal fines. High-efficiency units are available in different sizes, from small diameters to larger units, for various capacities. Standard cyclones are the most common types, available in multiple sizes and suited for coarse sawdust and shavings or material with few extreme fines. Users can add long cone spirals and skimmers.

These rugged designs employ heavy gauge carbon steel, abrasion-resistant steel, special alloys, and rubber linings. The standard design includes heavy gauge wiped galvanized all-welded construction and painting in one of many available colours. For quick setup at the customer’s workplace, cyclones typically leave N.R. Murphy’s facility fully assembled.
