With dual volute design

With a built-in flapper/check valve, this pump can achieve consistent self-priming to 20 feet. Another key benefit is the dual volute design, which reduces the radial load on the motor. The AMT two-inch, self-priming centrifugal pump is available in stainless steel or cast iron; the stainless steel model (the 300 series) is extremely strong in applications in which rust or corrosion can develop in systems, while being very resistant to chemicals and erosion. It also includes Viton seals, whereas the cast iron model is construction with Buna-N seals. Optional silicon carbide seals are also available.

Other specifications of this pump include the following: maximum flow of 150 gallons per minute; port size of two inches NPT; maximum temperature of 93 degrees Celsius for the stainless steel model, or 82 degrees Celsius for the cast iron version; maximum head of 44 pounds per square inch; maximum working pressure of 75 pounds per square inch; and single- or three-phase motors that operate at 3,450 revolutions per minute, delivering 1½ to three horsepower, depending on the specific model.

This self-priming centrifugal pump also comes with NEMA 56J motors with a stainless steel shaft, along with a steel base and handle. Ten different models are available from York Fluid Controls, with shipping weights ranging from 70 to 90 pounds. Each version has a height of 28.1 centimetres (cm); other dimensions go from 47.7 by 19 cm to 52.8 by 23.1 cm.
