From robotics to CNC machining

With state-of-the-art equipment and finely honed skills, the Matritech team is capable of handling any metal-fabrication project its clients require. Original equipment manufacturers also benefit from the company’s efficient and courteous customer service and technical support.

Services available from Matritech include the following:

• Laser cutting and CNC punching. Matritech’s cutting department uses three types of digitally controlled equipment: a laser cutting machine, a CNC punching machine, and a laser punching machine.
• Robotic and CNC bending. The company’s robotic bending cell is the first of its kind in Canada, and it complements Matritech’s group of CNC standard bending presses.
• Robotic and manual welding. Steel, stainless steel, and aluminum bending projects are available from the welding department.
• Stamping. Matritech’s mechanical presses can handle a capacity of up to 500 tonnes, for two types of stamping: transforming flat metal with dies, and forming objects that cannot be unbended from sheet metal.
• Tooling. The company offers tooling with progressive dies and manual transfer dies. This department can offer solutions for oversize parts, complex geometric shapes. or fine details.
• CNC machining. Matritech’s machining centre is quick and efficient, and when working with the tooling department, it is capable of high-speed part production.
• Extrusion. The company has recently equipped itself with an aluminum extrusion transformation department, after popular demand from clients.
• Assembly. Bolting, bonding, riveting, crimping, labeling, bagging, and packing services are available from the assembly department, which is prepared to adapt to many scenarios and operational processes.
• Coating. Matritech’s working relationships with various suppliers gives it access to numerous surface coating options. Finishing options for metal parts include paint, plating, anodizing, silk-screening, and passivation.
