Partitions revitalize work environment and improve productivity

When a multi-national leasing company redesigned its head office, it turned to Excess Space Solutions (ESS) to create a bright but private environment. Mississauga, Ont.-based ESS has been designing and manufacturing partitions, mezzanines, demountable wall assemblies and prefabricated buildings since 2003. The leasing company is just one example in a long list of companies who have looked to ESS to maximize their space, revitalize their work environment and maximize their productivity.

Many factories, in fact, use wire mesh partitions to separate warehouse and inventory control areas, and to ensure personnel safety. They are suitable for industrial spaces, available in standard panel dimensions and custom designs, and are easy to install.

The company’s in-house engineering team custom-designs all of the products with the help of CAD technology. They are all designed to meet non-combustible building code requirements, and 90 to 100 per cent of the materials can be re-used when reconfiguring or relocating the partition.

The company offers a variety of additions to its wire mesh partitions, including swing or sliding gates, service wickets, automatic gate closers and emergency exit devices, as well as custom colour finishes. A number of finishes are also available, including vinyl-covered gypsum panels, prefinished metals panels and FRP panels, plus numerous value-added options like tile and carpet.

“We ship a kit with everything that your maintenance department needs to install the partition or, if you prefer, our installation team can set it up for you,” the company says, adding that the team can also install electrical components and fixtures.
