Since its inception more than four decades ago, Alps Welding has been a leading custom fabricator of choice for professionals, equipment designers, plant operators and end users, from Southern Ontario, North America, to even the far corners worldwide.

Welding and community are paramount to Alps. Our company founder’s calling, together with the presence of a solid customer base, have laid the groundwork for appealing and multiplying the welding community in Vaughan, Ontario.

How did we become this way?

In 1974, Joe Dussin left his job as a fitter-welder at Dominion Welding in Maple, Ontario to decide to venture something on his own. Fitted with a pickup truck and a welding machine, he incorporated Alps Welding Ltd., which began as a welding service to food and chemical companies in the GTA. 

Dussin pre-fabricated, repaired and installed piping and tanks, along with owning a 1,500 square foot rental unit to park his truck (as well as his stake in the welding industry). 

With exponential growth in office space, equipment inventory and skilled employees, Alps Welding continually expands we remain true to the company’s hometown of Vaughan, Ontario.

Alps Welding continually seeks ways to evolve. We’re proud to be actively involved in the welding business for the last 40 years, a rare achievement in the welding industry.
