Mechanical assemblies

For mechanical applications that require low weight and small size combined with high stability and repeatability, our Microlin™ miniature control cables are ideal. They are highly flexible, resistant to fatigue, and have breaking strengths as high as 175 pounds. Our selection includes sizes ranging from .010 to .048 inches.  We can also provide miniature cables that feature practically zero constructional stretch. As a result, our Posilign™ brand cable can eliminate the need for proof load testing and secondary adjustments of cable assemblies.

We have the capability to offer extremely tight tolerances in assembly lengths and cable diameters.  When required, we can manufacture assemblies with length tolerances as low as +/- .047 inches. Especially close tolerances often lead to higher production and quality assurance costs, so we will work with you to determine the ideal method of manufacturing and inspection for your specific assembly.
