As an employee-owned custom machine shop, we have a team of professionals who are committed to continuously improving our equipment, processes, and product quality. The main goal of these improvements is to ensure customer satisfaction. L & M Precision Products Inc. is able to offer versatile design, machining, and finishing services using a large array of state-of-the-art equipment in our 50,000 square foot facility. From CNC Swiss Type multi-axis machines to 8-spindle automatic screw machines, our range of equipment enables the high-precision machining for large and small volume runs with any level of complexity.

Machine shop services

To perform our machining services we use CNC machines with capacities up to 60mm, multi-spindle machines with capacities up to 1-3/4 inches, rotary transfer machines with capacities up to 45mm, and single spindle machines with capacities up to 2-3/8 inches. We work with a range of materials including steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, copper alloys, titanium, nylon, and Teflon.

In addition, we have a secondary operations department that is fully equipped and staffed. It can offer secondary operations including broaching, milling, drilling, tapping, thread rolling, and centreless and plunge grinding. When it comes to finishing services, we work with a number of certified sub-contractors to offer heat treating, anodizing, nickel plating, black oxide, magni coating, and more.

Machining process

L & M Precision Products Inc. utilizes a comprehensive quality assurance program. Our QA measures include failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), advanced product quality planning (APQP), gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R) six sigma, begin before the start of a project and continue until the finished product is delivered to the customer.  Management reassesses the QA program on a regular basis to find new ways to improve. Our company has been ISO 9001 registered since 1997.
