Ertalyte Rods Product Line 

We distribute ertalyte rods in several dimensions. They feature excellent wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, high modulus, low creep and outstanding dimensional stability. Ertalyte also offers good chemical and abrasion resistance, and its mechanical and electrical properties are almost unaffected by ambient moisture. Ertalyte is especially suitable for the manufacturing of mechanical precision parts and, with its FDA approval, for food contact applications. Its melting point is 83ºC higher than that of acetal, and its continuous service temperature is 10% higher.
