In contrast, Mercotac connectors provide a connection that remains constant and unchanged. Rotary connectors

The key to the advantages offered by Mercotac electrical connectors is their innovative design. These connectors have a conduction path that uses liquid metal that is molecularly bonded to the contacts. When the connector is rotated, the liquid metal maintains the connection without causing wear. In addition to eliminating wear, this design also offers an extremely low resistance connection (less than one milliohm resistance) with near zero electrical noise.

The selection available includes connectors with one, two, three, four, six, or eight conductors. They are rated for voltages up to 500 volts, and rotation speeds up to 7500 RPM. Mercotac rotary electrical connectors are made in the United States and feature sealed ball bearing construction. In addition to all the advantages offered by these connectors, they also cost less than slip rings with comparable capacity.
